Q: What happens if it’s raining, very windy or bad weather on the day of the booking?
A: If the weather is bad/raining or very windy, please call us and we'll discuss what action to take, whether that be to rearrange the time or date of the booking or to cancel the booking. Or we may call you to say whether we will deliver or not.
Q: How much space do I need in my garden for a bouncy castle?
A: The actual sizes of our inflatable’s as well as the space needed are stated in the description of each inflatable. If in doubt please call us with the measurements of the area where you are hoping to site the bouncy castle/inflatable.
Q: What kind of suitable access do you need when you deliver the castle/inflatable?
A: Please give us a clear route. We deliver all of our bouncy castles on a sack truck rolled up. If a standard size wheelie bin will go through a gap or entrance, then this will usually be good enough for bouncy castle delivery. If you have a lot of steps or a tight entrance way, please let us know so that we that we can decide if delivery is possible, as the bouncy castles are heavy we can not manually lift them over objects or obstructions.
Q: Can the bouncy castles go indoors?
A: We deliver many bouncy castles to indoor venues (but not domestic homes). We anchor the bouncy castle down using special sandbags. Normal dimensions’ of the bouncy castles apply as well as consideration to the height of the room and any hanging light fittings.
Q: Are you fully insured?
A: Yes. We have 5 million pounds worth of public liability cover, however as per our terms and conditions we cannot be held liable for any injuries caused whilst the castle is under your supervision. You as the hirer are the sole person responsible for the castle and its safe use. Our Public Liability covers US against faulty equipment or unsafe setting up of our inflatables.
Q: How much notice should I give to book a castle?
A: As much notice as possible. During the summer season, and weekends in particular, we get booked up well in advance. However we often manage to take bookings at very short notice, usually due to a competitor letting a customer down!
Q: Do you charge for a cancellation?
A: No……. We don't charge a cancellation fee……But please give us as much notice as possible, so that we can hire the castle out to somebody else.
Q: How many children are allowed on the castle at a time?
A: Each size or type of bouncy castle has different limits. Our children's castles are never to be used by adults. You as the hirer are responsible for any damage caused to the bouncy castle.
Q: Can you put a bouncy castle on a hard outdoor surface?
A: We prefer not to whenever possible, for safety reasons. However we access each booking on an individual basis…..So please let us know at the time of booking.
Q: Are your bouncy castles safe? Are they annually tested?
A: All of our bouncy castles have been manufactured in Great Britain by one the Worlds leading manufacturers of bouncy castle/inflatable’s to current industry safety standards. We have our castles tested annually. When you hire from us we go through a comprehensive safety briefing with you, which if adhered to will lead to a safe hire. All of our bouncy castles are commercial grade…..NOT toys, which some unscrupulous hirers are hiring out!
Q. What if it rains?
A: All our Castles come with shower covers, so a shower won't stop play! However if the shower is persistent or heavy, our advice is to get everyone off the inflatable, leave it inflated (so that water collects on the inflatable), then a quick wiping over with a towel before letting children back on to the inflatable.
Q: My garden has a slope. Can we still hire a castle from you?
A: Yes, we hire out to many customers who have a slope on there garden, a slight slope poses no problem. However…..If there is too much of a slope, we may not be able to set up in that location as we will always put the safety of children first.
Q: Do your inflatable’s/bouncy castles need an electricity supply? If so, how much electricity does it use?
A: Yes all of our inflatables need an electricity supply. We will bring an extension lead with us, so you'll need an outlet near the set up area, either from indoors or from an outdoor supply. The blower runs continuously and uses approximately £0.20p of electricity per hour.
Q: What time do you deliver and pickup the children’s bouncy castle?
A: Please note that delivery times are generally between 8am -12pm noon and pickup times are generally between 6pm-8pm, unless you have requested exact times i.e. for a venue booking or unless booked for an overnight hire or as agreed by ourselves
Q: What are your hours of operation?
A: As we are a family business, we run our business from home…..So within reason you can contact us at any time between 8am to 9pm on any day
Q: Can I still get a hire at short notice?
A: Possibly! We carry out many last minute bookings or cover a hire where another operator has failed to turn up!
Q: Can I keep the bouncy castle over night?
A: Yes, this is sometimes possible and incurs charge of £30. Overnight hire is subject to certain conditions, which we will discuss with.
Q: Can we pick up the bouncy castle ourselves?
BE AWARE OF THE CHEAP, DIRTY, UNTESTED, UNSAFE BOUNCY CASTLES THAT ARE AVAILABLE FROM SOME UNSCRUPULOUS HIRERS WHO ARE JUST OUT TO MAKE A QUICK BUCK!
